In the early 1970's, the U.S. importer for the Solis Hair Dryer ran into a problem. The Solis factory in Switzerland had a devastating fire that destroyed the manufacturing plant. With no hair dryers to import to the U.S., the company pivoted and teamed up with an Italian engineer who was developing a new hair dryer, together, they worked to create a new hair dryer and the Solano Professional Hair Dryer was born!
